 The purpose of the Mural Project is to create a space of collaboration and expression in which the young artists involved share their stories with the extended community and take ownership of their experiences while developing their potential and expanding artistic skills. A brand new activity park and music room were inaugurated at SOS Megadim Village on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, The project was funded with assistance from the Cellcom Company, Israel’s largest cellular operator. Aside from the necessary funding needed for materials and equipment, company workers were responsible for the actual labor needed to erect park structures. The activity park includes rope ladders and bridges, a balancing platform, climbing towers, slides and other engaging and challenging equipment. More... Read full story, listen to interview The SOS Children's Villages Organization has launched a new after-school child care facility in the locality of Ka'abiyye, as a joint project with Ka'abiyye Local Council and the Ministry of Social Welfare. The new center joins two already existing centers operating in the area.  Michael Polianski, 18, graduate of the SOS Neradim Children’s village received an unexpected surprise when he was asked to serve as the personal guide for the the newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mr. Dan Shapiro.

The following is just a small selection of their most recent successes in a wide spectrum of their accomplishments as residents at our villages of Neradim and Megadim  The group of 60 mothers and their children from Bedouin villages in Ka’abiyya came to visit Safari in Ramat Gan.. For most it was their first time at a zoo of any kind.  Megadim teams trained by Uri Maliv, a professional football trainer and life blood of the football club activity for over 12 years. "We played a great game despite the fact we played away and not on our home pitch. It was a good experience for the team," he said. More...
